REVIEWS

5.0 out of 5 stars A Book to Change the Way You See Life's Plan, October 21, 2010
This review is from: The Blue Collar Scholar (Paperback)
Would have to be a fool to convey;
words in a book have nothing to say.

J. Elwood Davis, ordinary man,
will change the way you see your life's plan.

Understand abortion in new light;
find out what can make Christmas just right.

Open your eyes when you see a vet.
Keep on smiling the older you get.

Take lessons from a blue collar guy,
thank the Lord when the devil must buy.

Children grown; at last time for a nap.
no, because grand-kids are there with crap.

If one book could make you laugh and cry,
this is the one you'll find will apply.

Never had such a good time reading;
this book is so far the one leading.

ANSWER TO REVIEW:

This glowing review!
My first book is published,
Thanks to Pat and you!
It's all about living,
Every chapter and verse,
From the rockin' of the cradle,
To the rollin' of the hearse!

It's all about my place and time,
I wrote it out, and made it rhyme,
It's the good and bad, and in between,
And war scenes from a young Marine,
Who volunteered for Uncle Sam,
And saw too much in Vietnam!
It's kids and family, married life,
It's painful times you miss your wife!

Seriously sad, and sadly serious,
It's times that made me glad,
And it's humor so delierious!
It speaks of truth and honor,
Standing tall, when life gets rough,
But sometimes I gotta ponder,
Is just one single book enough?
